what we do
For many users purchasing the equipment is only the first step. Getting it home or setting it up in the office can be a difficult process if you are unfamiliar with computer technology. We believe in offering you a complete package and many people may wish to have one of our engineers deliver the goods and set them up, which we’re happy to do! This ensures that your equipment is up and running and you can use it straight away.
Networking machines has many advantages including sharing resources and centralizing administration and security. We are able to provide everything you need to set up a network, from network cards and cabling to servers and switches. There are many ways to set up a network and the choice and range of equipment to purchase can be confusing, but our expert technicians will be happy to advise you.
We will answer any question you have about software or hardware purchased through The Computer Magician. If you have any question about computers, we’d love to help you out! All of the components in our systems have one year of hardware warranty, unless otherwise stated. The goal is to keep you worry free!
By buying each component separately, we gain great control over the quality of your system. In mass-produced systems, cheap components are typically used to keep costs low. Due to our unique ordering methods, we have control over the quality of every component. Quality components mean fewer problems and less downtime for you or your business.

My fascination with computers started in the 80’s. Around that time I was making a name for myself as a magician. Competing across the country at conventions and performing shows all around the Midwest, with my lovely assistant (Rogene).
Rogene and I still do a few magic shows every year, but most of our time is spent with our children helping them become successful. To date, Vincent has performed magic shows in 7 different states (all before the age of 16). My daughter, Rebecca, was the youngest girl to perform for the International Brotherhood of Magicians convention in Reno, NV. My son, Luis G, has performed with Vincent in over 80 shows as his assistant and helper.
In 2001, Magickits.com was launched, my magic shop. I have appeared on national TV as well as in an award-winning Netflix movie called “Make Believe.” I have mentored several students, with many of them helping manage the shows and perform on stage. The group “Magic Mafia” started with those I mentored. Two members are still performing professionally today. Considered the “Godfather” of the Magic Mafia group, I enjoy helping young people learn the art of magic. In 2015, I received the prestigious “David P. Abbott” Award from my peers in the Omaha Magical Society and the Society of American Magicians for my achievements in magic.
Overlapping this time, In the late 80’s I decided to combine my two loves, work and my assistant! Rogene and I decided to travel less, and I started to learn about computers. We established The Computer Magician™ in 1998 and could not be happier (now having eight beautiful children). Three of my children work for The Computer Magician, making it a fully-fledged family-owned business.
The Computer Magician™ has offered our services to the Lincoln and Omaha area for almost 30 years giving us extensive knowledge in the IT world. Our relationships with local businesses and our relationships with technology companies have given us an edge in our field. We pride ourselves on our customer service and quality work, meaning working with us does feel like magic.
